Cheesy Chinese Casserole Recipe

Ingredients:

• Can of Cream of Celery Soup
• Can of Cream of Mushroom Soup
• Can of Chicken Gumbo
• 1 1/2 or 2 lbs Hamburger
• Kraft® Shredded Cheese (flavor of choice)
• Chinese Noodles

Directions:

Preheat oven to 300 degrees. Fry hamburger in a pan until cooked. In a casserole dish layer ingredients: 1/3 hamburger, 1/4 noodles, cream of mushroom soup, 1/3 hamburger, 1/4 noodles, cream of celery soup, 1/3 hamburger, 1/4 noodles, chicken gumbo soup, small layer of cheese, and top off with noodles. Cook until noodles are puffy and cooked through 30-45 minutes.

This is an easy meal my mom use to make when I was a kid. It is a quick, easy, and kid friendly recipe (or at least to this once kid). It is one that taste better than it looks, or at least that is what I’ve tried to tell my husband who refuses to eat it. I decided to make it one day for a pot luck lunch at work, because an easy meal is my kind of meal, and I received rave reviews. Due to their reactions I’m going to stand by my word that it taste great. Because it is so easy to prepare and everyone seems to love it, it is a great dish to take to a get together or while entertaining.

I decided to put a little twist on the dish and add cheese. Often I add cheese on the top of mine with a little crushed pepper so I figured why not add a little cheese while it is baking. After all who doesn’t like cheese! I added Kraft® Shredded Cheese to my dish to give it just that little bit of extra umph! Personally I think a mozzarella taste the best.
