When my kids were young one of my favorite toys was puzzles by Melissa and Doug. I especially love a state puzzle that my daughter had at an older age, however there were always great toddler puzzles. While I still encourage puzzles for your toddler we also live in the age of technology when kids are often on the computer, phone, or iPad. So why not encourage your child’s imagination and let them play and learn at the same time. I great puzzle app to incorporate both fun and education is Puzzingo.

When we tested the app ourselves we were very impressed by the quality of the graphics of the app, the ease of filling in the puzzle pieces, and the fact that your child can get a new puzzle every day which is a great incentive to keep playing. Also your child is given a few puzzle pieces and after they have placed them in the scene the scene grows and more pieces are offered. They continue until they have finished the entire scene.
There are fun themes that every child will like from Pirates and Superheroes to Pets and Fairy Tales. The app is free however you can purchase an all-access pass that will give you access to over 150 puzzles and counting. This means you will also have access to future updates and puzzles. The pass never expires! While your child is playing and learning they will also encounter some fun mini-games to keep them entertained and learning.
