I’ve had a lot of people visiting to try to figure out how to put together our recent Halloween craft we purchased at Michaels.com the Creatology Horror House. I wish I had taken photos while I was putting it together to help everyone out. The best I can do is take some photos of the base and try to explain what I did so that maybe you can get started. Once you get started it is pretty easy to figure out the rest. I welcome any questions you may have and will try to answer them the best I can.
Note: When I say right and left I’m talking about as if you are looking at the finished house (the one in my original post) the right side is the one with the tree. Hope this helps a little.
Assembling the Creatology Horror House
This is a photo under the house to show you the base. The big black piece is your base, and under your base are the two long pieces, and these pieces will fit into the base. You have to make sure these long pieces are facing the right way (see more photos below). You can see you will have four holes for the purple walls to fit into the base. You have the two front pieces with windows that will fit into the base (top of photo)
I put the stairs together and then the two front pieces with windows fit into the stairs to keep it in place
The stairs on the right will fit into the front pieces with the windows.
There are four railings and one is different then the other three you can see the one that is different is the one that goes to the right of the house. Also, the two long pieces that are under the base (in the top photo) you need to make sure the ends that fit into the side piece are on the right side of the house. On the left side of the house, the two pieces will fit into a small piece to hide the base (see below)
See to the left of the stairs that is a little piece that the two long base pieces under the house will fit into as well as having the stairs fit into it as well. Once the base is together I think the rest will make sense.
TIP: I recommend putting the decorations on BEFORE you put it together. The windows, shutters, shingles, etc. It just makes them stick a little better and you aren’t trying to get into small places to put on the stickers.
