Phase 2 Release Ultimate Reset Day 8
While I was excited to start this day, the first day of the second Phase on Ultimate Rest by Beachbody, I was most looking forward to the big bowl of fruit I was going to have for breakfast. Unfortunately I had to grab and go because we had an early soccer game and I had to brush my teeth first (talk about some sour fruit).
So far I’m feeling pretty on par with not a lot of aches and pains, a normal amount of energy, and not overly tired. I started taking the Detox today which is another drink and has to be taken three times a day. It isn’t terrible but it isn’t good.
My meals today were pretty good I absolutely LOVE the pinto beans and rice and it will be definitely be one I will be repeating again.
Phase 2 Release Ultimate Reset Day 9-10
I always seem to be getting behind in journaling. My breakfast is leaving me hungry and I’m definitely noticing more hunger pains on this phase. The protein is limited, however I found after watching a video why that is the case. I also learned today that microwaving your food sucks quite a lot of the nutrients out of it so it is suggested not too. However since I have to bring my food to work sometimes that is not an option.
Phase 2 Release Ultimate Reset Day 11-14
The days are just blending into very long trying to get through my day kinda days. The only way to sum up how I feel right now is that sometimes too much of a good thing is well….too much. This week has been very hard. I don’t have “cravings” but I want different food. When others are eating a sub, Oreo’s, pasta, etc. I just want to have the ability to eat it, but I don’t feel a physical craving for the foods. When I say too much is not a good thing what I mean is I’m TIRED of fruit, and I’m TIRED of eating nothing but vegetables. As you go through this phase there are less grains and beans which of course is what I enjoyed. I will be happy if I never see a salad (a healthy one) the rest of my life. Many nights I’m eating steamed veggies and some other veggies cooked with an olive oil (to get in the fat).
This last day my lower back has ached most of the day, more so when I’m sitting. Not sure what that is all about. While I’m very thankful to be on my final and last phase I am counting the days until I’m done. I’ve definitely lost some weight, in fact someone at worked noticed, so that is great. I will say that I think some of it is just a lack of eating enough. I get to a point where I just can’t eat anymore not because of fullness but I just can’t stomach the food.
Energy wise I’m about normal neither full of energy or tired. I seem to sleep “ok”. I think when I sleep it is deeper but I still wake up occasionally. Next week I will have my full results for you weight lost, inches lost, and my overall impression of the plan and if I would do it again.
