I wanted to first start off by mentioning that I’m doing a Questions and Answers section with both Cynthia Sass and myself so if you have been following my progress or are new and have any questions for Cynthia about the plan or myself please visit this page to submit your questions: Interview with Cynthia Sass and Myself . I will be posting the questions asked and answered so far later today since at least one of them seems time sensitive.
Very hectic day yesterday both at work and at home. I didn’t get in nearly as much water I as like too. Being the last day of the 5-Day Fast Forward plan I was surprised that it was a tough one for me. I think my issues are stress related and “other” issues. That said I did get through the day for the most part eating what I should (more on that below). Once I left work I had to hit the grocery store to prepare for the next two days on the Core program in the book.
Because I had to hit the store I wasn’t able to come home and run like I wanted to (before it got dark). However my husband has been walking at night so I did manage to get in my running with him. I just don’t feel safe running at night by myself. I can’t imagine many people would, but with him out there with me I felt much better. I don’t like to run that late but was determined to get it in.
When I got back at 10 pm (yeah way to late to be exercising) I had to prepare my meals for today. Since I work full time I had to be able to bring them with me. Can I say YUMMY? Everything I made looked so delicious. I know this is from eating the same thing for the last 5 days, but I’m thinking that may be part of the plan.
Here are what I chose to eat for today:
Breakfast: Blueberry Smoothie with Almond Toast
Lunch: Chilled Herb Chicken Pasta Salad (with a few modifications)
Snack: Cinnamon Walnut Apple Crisp
Dinner: Black Bean Tacos with Cilantro-Jalapeno Guacamole (with a few modifications)
So now comes the confession time. I did pick at the food while I was eating last night. I ate more then I should have and SIGH yes I ate a few items not on any list on this book like olives (full of salt). Don’t know what came over me especially in the last hours of completion. However I’m ok with that, and I’m totally ready to begin the next phase of the plan today!
Food: Defiintely getting tiring.
Mood: A litte stressed and harder to stay on plan, but I believe it was the stress causing the cravings.
Physically: Yesterday nothing drastic but noticed a little bloating this morning
Little bit of weight gain I believe I’m retaining a little bit of water, but either way it is .2lbs nothing to even blink an eye at.
