Swankini Swimsuit Review
You might have noticed that a favorite review item here at Shibley Smiles is swimsuits. Living in South Florida I love to have the option between many different suits when going to the beach, pool, or hanging with the family. I recently had the chance to review an awesome swimsuit called the “Swankini” Suddenly Slimming Swimsuits which was just featured in the June issue of O Magazine .
How interesting that the very swimsuit that was featured was the same swimsuit I chose to review. Just a different color, the slimming swimsuit I chose is the same one pictured above the plum-colored Swankini.
The swimsuit is featured as one of 7 Perfect Swimsuits for Pear-Shaped Women. The truth is this is why it looks good on me. I’m definitely bottom-heavy heavy mostly hips and thighs, so I need a suit that is going to draw attention away from that area.

When I first tried on the swimsuit I originally thought the top was not only tight but was a very thick material and I thought to myself I’m going to sweat to death in this thing. That tight feeling had to do with the spandex lining. However, this same lining is what gives the swimsuit that slimming effect. It wasn’t too long after putting on the suit that I suddenly realized it was not tight at all and was very comfortable. The thick feeling of the material actually made me feel comfortable and supported.
After getting in the water I saw that this swimsuit was more than just a fashion statement it was perfect. What I mean by this is the swimsuit stayed in place. I did not get out of the water needing to readjust my top or bottom like many swimsuits cause you to do. I loved it! It is one of my favorite swimsuits that I own. I feel very comfortable roaming the beach or attending a pool party in this suit,

The Swankini comes in many different styles and colors. You can mix and match the top style you like with the bottom style to get the perfect fit!
Our Thoughts
- Price: The price of this swimsuit I received is $80 for the top and $45 for the bottom. Considering the fit of this swimsuit, the quality, and the fashion value we believe this price to be above average, meaning it is a better than average deal.
- Quality: We rate the quality of the Swankini Suddenly Slimming Swimsuit as excellent. The fabric quality is sturdy and the spandex backs up the claim of suddenly slimming.
- Recommendation: We highly recommend the Swankini for people looking for the perfect swimsuit, not only is it slimming but it is fashionable. The styles to choose from all look beautiful in our opinion.
