Cinch Diet Review Day 3: 5-Day Fast Forward
It is about 8:46 in the morning as I’m starting Day 4 of my Cinch diet review on the 5-Day Fast Forward Trial and letting you know how Day 3 went. It is all I can do to sit here typing instead of getting up and running, doing jumping jacks, and talking up a storm. I have so much energy it is so hard to sit here at work and concentrate. I guess that is not a bad problem to have.
my own tweaks to the Cinch diet plan
Now as a note I did run yesterday so I do believe the energy level is a combination of both eating and exercise. I just wanted to throw that out there so that everyone knew what I was doing in case they didn’t experience the same results. I realized yesterday here on day 4 that I need to make a little change. In the book, it states that you should eat one hour after you wake up and then no less than three hours and no more than 5 hours between meals. If you are not following this timing then you are not following the plan. However, I will tell each of you that I DO NOT eat within one hour of waking. It is just not something I can fit into my daily schedule during the work week. I get up at 6:30 and I eat around 8:30.
Switching the Timing of Eating
I was trying to follow her sample plan of eating at 8:00, 12:30, 5:30 (more like 6:30) and then 10:00 (more like 9:30). However after reading that section again and seeing that it is only a sample time frame I’m switching mine up some today. My dinner for me is my last meal I do not feel the need or WANT to eat after that and I’m finding that waiting between lunch and dinner I find myself STARVING! So today my meals will be at 8:30, 12:30, 3:30, and then 7:30. I think the 3:30 snack will help me get through the day and then I won’t have to force myself to eat after dinner.
Same Food A Little Boring
The meals for me are definitely getting tiring, I’m not one that likes to eat the same thing each day but I definitely find each day is easier to stay on plan than the next. I have no cravings to stray or any desire to eat off plan. I do find that I’m eating to fuel my body instead of my taste buds. This means I look at the clock see it is lunch time, eat, and don’t think about food again until it is time to eat once again. I think this is a HUGE key in trying to lose weight. Training your body to eat when it is hungry and to fuel it versus eating because something sounds good or looks good. When I’m not eating well and I’m eating junk foods I am NEVER hungry. Seriously my body never gives me cues that it is time to eat because I’m eating for taste, because it is there, or because it looks good.
Food
Meals are getting a little boring due to my need for variety, however, they don’t taste nearly as bad as the first day as my body is getting used to the no sugar so things are tasting different.
Mood
Great mood, but can’t wait for Day 5 to begin the Core program! Lots of energy, which does make it hard to get to sleep at night.
How I’m Feeling Physically
No noticeable differences this morning, since I’m wearing new clothes from Christmas I can’t really compare how they fit. However definitely feel my tummy has become less bloated over the past days.
