I thought I was done for the year when it came to doing some house projects but I decided to bid out getting our house painted ONE MORE TIME. I had given up after little success when a few weeks later I got a call and decided to allow someone to come by and give us a bid. I figured that even though the bids we were receiving based on photos and information were high that they were going to be higher when someone actually saw the house. It isn’t the most paint friendly with the tall roofs and tons of bushes around it. However when the quote I got was $1400 less than most of the others I decided I couldn’t pass it up.
A$ R Executive Painting is a wife and husband team and I can’t say enough amazing things about them. This ended up being a one man job, I couldn’t believe he did it all. It took 7 days to get it done from pressure washing and caulking, to priming and painting. They had to deal with my indecision about color. We had chosen two colors and when they put both of them up I just wasn’t 100% happy even though my husband was. I tried to talk myself into the color and then eventually changed it. When I came home after they started painting with the new color I couldn’t have been happier.
Before the Transformation
My Brand New (Looking) House
It’s amazing what a little paint can do. There are definitely things I would like to do in the future like refinish the pool, resurface our cabinets, new counter-tops, new appliances, remodel the bathroom and eventually switch out to dark hardwood floor. However we have years to do and I can only imagine how amazing our home will look when we are all done. I think the next project I’m ready to tackle is to at least get our bathrooms painted, after all paint seems to make an amazing difference!
