Ingredients

  • 4 pork chops On the bone or boneless whichever you prefer
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • salt to taste
  • pepper to taste
  • garlic salt to taste
  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 can Campbell’s condensed golden mushroom soup 10 3/4 oz can
  • Baby Bella mushrooms optional

Instructions

  • Coat an electric skillet (or frying pan) with oil
  • Sprinkle pork chops with salt, pepper, and garlic salt to taste
  • Brown pork chops on each side 10-15 minutes
  • Remove pork chops and add soup and water to pan and bring to a boil
  • Place pork chops into pan and simmer for 10 minutes or until fully cooked
  • Serve pork chops with extra sauce

Optional

  • While the pork chops are simmering brown up some mushrooms
  • Add to sauce to give it more flavor

Notes

I prefer a thicker sauce so use a smaller amount of water. Also, the pork chops on the bone are more tender and have more flavor than their leaner counterparts.
