It’s time once again for our family swap your ride, and it couldn’t have come at a better time as we are taking a road trip to Orlando. This time we were given the 2013 Kia Sorento . At first glance you could tell that this is not your run of the mill SUV. It had a nice sleekness to it and an attractive look like no other. A bright silver with black and chrome accents, not to mention full of all the options you would ever want. I just love the keyless entry, push button start, leather interior, electric fold in mirrors and Sirius radio to just name a few. We would be here for days to list all the features and options, so I would recommend visiting your local Kia dealer.
Now we need to get on the road for our weekend getaway. With a family of 5 we are always looking for enough room for everyone to be comfortable. The Kia Sorento had answered our prayers with the 3rd row seating. Not just a bench seat, but individual seats that pop up which leaves plenty of room for luggage and more. For a smaller SUV it was quite spacious and comfortable to drive. Did I mention all leather seats and trim, with air cooled driver’s seat (which is great for hotter climates). What maybe stood out the most in my opinion was the power and speed the Kia Sorento had. It definitely was a nice smooth ride that cruised right down the road with nimbleness and quickness.
With all the new safety features such as front, side and rear airbags, downhill break assist and traction control you get the feeling of being secure. Plus with all the buttons and control mounted on the steering wheel, your hands never have to leave the wheel. With an excellent navigation system (which is a must with any road trip with the wife), Bluetooth wireless and dual zone climate control it was a relaxing trip for all.
You just get so much bang for your buck with this 2013 Kia Sorento , that I can’t do it justice. For a vehicle that is under $36,000 I would recommend it for any family, large or small. Please contact your local Kia dealership for a test drive and you feel fall in love like we did.
