Childhood seems like so long ago. These days my life is house hunting, working, raising kids, and if I'm lucky a good bubble bath once in a while. I remember the days many years ago when the best thing in the world was jumping on my bike and riding around the neighborhood with my best friend.
One of my favorite activities make in the "olden days" as my daughter calls them was sticker books. Did you have a sticker book? I remember scratch n' sniffs, googly eyes, and puffy stickers. I loved to go to the "sticker" store. I have no idea if ther was actually a store with just stickers but that is all I remember about the store. I loved to pick out just the right sticker.
My husband is not much of the "camping" type but I enjoyed a good smore or fishing trip any day with the family. Living in Florida we often would go on a day fishing trip and I loved almost all of it, except baiting my hook! This is just a few of my childhood memories. Can you imagine not having the opportunity to play and enjoy your childhood?
Vitamin Angles Give Childhood Campaign
A healthy childhood is something we all deserve. But laughter and play – birthrights of all children – are being denied. 3.1 million children will lose their chance to play forever as a result of undernutrition. We believe that being able to experience the joy and wonder of childhood is a basic human right, one that can be restored – at least in part – with vitamins and minerals. It’s that belief that has inspired the Give Childhood campaign, sponsored by Vitamin Angels. Vitamin Angels is a nonprofit organization distributing vitamins and minerals to children and mothers in need. Vitamin Angels currently supports programs in nearly 50 countries from Africa, to Asia, Latin America and the United States.
You can help by visiting Vitamin Angels Give Childhood to make a donation that will help deliver essential vitamins and minerals to at risk children in need. Just 25 cents will give one child the vitamin A he or she needs for the entire year.
Did you take vitamins as a child? I remember Flintstones vitamins I think that is what every child use to take back then. No gummy vitamins years ago but image not having the choice between the two or even one! Your support today will give the gift of childhood to those in need worldwide so please donate now.
$300K is enough to Give Childhood to 1.2 million children around the world in the form of lifesaving vitamin supplements. There is only a little time left to donate so don't wait. The Give Childhood campaign – runs from Tuesday, December 3 (Giving Tuesday) through Tuesday, December 31st.Give Childhood back to children in need and now that you made many children's life a little brighter and hopefully filled with a little more laughter and play!
