Honey and I recently had the chance to review Turtle Trek™ – Adventure with Friendly Turtle from SeaWorld® Kids. This app is available on both iOS and Android. We downloaded the game on our iPad so we could really get a good idea on how the app works and looks. The graphics are bright and fun and children will love all the movement and creatures they will find through their trek.
Dive under the ocean with your baby turtle and swim as far as you possibly can. Touch and tap to collect coins, discover treasure and meeting other sea animals. Watch out for those sharks or any other creatures that can stand in your way, those are the bad guys! Brought to you by SeaWorld® Kids, where imagination meets nature, Turtle Trek™ is a fun and engaging learning game for all kids to experience an ocean adventure.
At first I was looking for a tutorial, however I found that the game didn’t really need one. At the beginning of the game it will guide you what to do. It was also point out pitfalls. This game should be easy enough for most children yet offer a challenge as they have to figure out how to maneuver the turtle.
Turtle Trek™ by SeaWorld® Kids
There are three main goals while swimming through the current: (1) grab coins (2) eat to get your energy up and (3) look out for dangers. We were able to play the first three levels before prompted to purchase the full game. Dangers we found were rocks, crabs, jelly fish, sharks, and birds. Each of these will stun or slow you down but you will be able to continue on. The game looks like it has a lot of potential for continued play and fun. There is a record of all the creatures you meet.
You can access your records (best scores) and achievements. I always love a game that gives you something to aim for. There is also a Shell Depot in which you can use your coins to purchase additional items.

Turtle Trek™ can be downloaded for free on iTunes and Google Play. The free version will give you and your child an idea if they are going to like the game which I think it is great option. I hate purchasing an app only to find it is not what I was looking for. In order to enjoy the game fully we recommend you purchase the full version.
