I remember when my sister told me she loves shopping at Kohl’s. I told her I had never heard of Kohl’s before and asked her why? She said they also have the best deals and great clothes. Since that day many years ago Kohl’s has become my go to store when I want to update my wardrobe or have something specific I need to get. Between the clearance racks and great deals on non-clearance items I’m sure to find something I love at just the right price.
I’m excited to tell you I’m a Kohl’s Fashion Ambassador which means you will be seeing some fun post centered around all types of fashion styles and brand names that can be found at Kohl’s. Our first assignment was “How Do I Wear Pink?” When I was young I was not a fan of pink, I guess I thought it was too girly. However as I aged I found pink to be a versatile color. It can make a bold statement with hot pink, a subtle statement with rose, or a delicate statement with a pale shade.
So as I was thinking pink and shopping Kohl’s I wasn’t sure what I was looking for exactly. I ended up starting with a top and wanted something that could be casual or dressy. This makes it a more “justifiable” purchase in my book. I found a light yet beautifully styled shirt and from there I paired it with a few different bottoms and a few key pieces of jeweler to make several different looks.
Breezy Florida Casual
To achieve this look I purchased a pink top (that will be the center of all looks), a white pair of capri styled pants, and some silver flip flops (which we wear a lot here in South Florida). Everything is light and a perfect style for a walk down the beach in the evening or heading into town on a warm spring day.
Casual Friday Denim Style
My favorite addition to this look is the beautiful pink flowered necklace that I picked up simply because I loved how it looked, fun! I kept the same silver flip flops but instead paired this with my Rock & Republic Jeans.
Business Casual
I’ve always enjoyed pink paired with grey. I’ve switched out my jewelry for a more sleek look and switched out the casual flip flops for a small heel, but still in silver.
With each one of these looks I’ve also changed my hair style to complete the look from breezy flowing curls, a side pony tail, and an up-do to add style. I love using my hair to change a look just as much as pieces of clothing.
As you can see with just a few pieces I’ve created three different looks. So paired with my savings from shopping at Kohl’s I believe this pink edition to my closet will go along way!
