What is Thanksgetting?
As a way to make one of the busiest travel days of the year – the day before Thanksgiving – a little bit better, Verizon has created Thanksgetting, partnering with some of the top names in digital entertainment to help make the day better.
Traveling by car or plane can often take its toll the airports are crowded and you keep your fingers crossed that your plane is not delayed. The traffic is atrocious as everyone seems to be going the same direction as you and all you see in front of you is brake lights. I don’t know about you but a good movie, e-book, or music is definitely a nice way to pass the miserable headache of traveling. I personally love to make sure I have something good to read. My kids always download a movie before the traveling begins and my husband always makes sure he has his music with him.
Verizon is giving everyone, not just Verizon customers, Amazon downloads, Go-Go inflight Wi-Fi, Pandora streaming with no ads, and iTunes gift cards. They say that half of the fun is getting there. With Thanksgetting approaching Verizon is determined to make sure to put the fun back into traveling.

I love everything about the holidays and Thanksgetting is no exception. I’ve already visited the site and set myself up to get a reminder of all the fun festivities.
