Have I mentioned lately how much I love Kohl’s. Oh yes I think I have several times. My recent mission was to shop the Daisy Fuentes collection at Kohl’s and showcase quite a few outfits. Showing how you can mix and match purchasing a piece and creating more than one look by adding to your current wardrobe. Definitely a task that was fun and enjoyable. My daughter and I visited Kohl’s last weekend to do our shopping. She was so good even with visit after visit to the dressing room, she is definitely an A+ shopping buddy.
daisy fuentes® Solid Roll-Tab Blouse
This blouse was by far my favorite I wish I had one in many more colors! However it is sold in only black and white. It is so beautiful and slimming. I wore it to work on Friday with a pair of jeans and some flip flops. I received many compliments. I will be pairing this shirt with different pants in my follow up post to show you how versatile it is and how you can create a total different look.
daisy fuentes® Solid Knot-Front Top
I loved the front knot in this shirt and how it takes your eyes away from the waist. It is a beautiful top and there were several colors. It was hard to choose and I may just go back and get another maybe the deep purple or blue. However with all of the challenges put forth to me this past month I’m trying to brighten up my wardrobe. In addition to the top I have also paired it with gold hoop earrings also by daisy fuentes.
Using the same gorgeous top I have switched up my look and I am now work ready. I simply replaced my jeans with some black slacks and black pumps. I also replaced the gold hoops with black. The daisy fuentes earrings I purchased was a three pack of simple hoops in gold, silver, and black. This coupled with a side pony tail completed my “work ready” outfit.
daisy fuentes® Everyday Twill Capris
My closet contains about 6-8 pairs of pants and 50+ shirts. You can change any look with a different shirt. For this outfit I paired my new daisy fuentes® Everyday Twill Capris with a shirt I currently had in my own wardrobe. I included my own earrings and very worn shoes (I seriously need to purchase a new pair of silver pumps). Capris are a big hit in South Florida where we are often trying to ward off the heat.
To show the versatility of the capris I’ve paired it with another shirt in my wardrobe and added a daisy fuentes necklace I purchased at Kohl’s. I also switched out my pumps for a snazzier pair of heels to spice up the outfit just a bit. Also changing my hairstyle from one photo to the next gives the outfit an entirely different effect.
I had such a blast creating new outfits that I will be doing it again soon so look for another post with more outfits I will be creating from the daisy fuentes collection. One thing I did notice is that my Kohl’s had a small section compared to the large collection you can find online. It may be worth checking out both your local store and online when shopping.
