I love to just browse around the Brookstone store. There are always such fun and unique products to see and test. Recently when we my daughter and I were at the mall we did our usually browsing and came upon the uSqueeze Leg and Foot Massager. Unfortunately there were some electric issues and we weren’t able to test it out. That was before Brookstone sent us a uSqueeze to test. We had the uSqueeze for about a month before we passed it on to the next Brookstone Ambassador.
- App-controlled from your iPod touch®, iPhone® or iPad® devices via Bluetooth® wireless technology (Can be used without the App – features manual controls on the side)
- Use the Free App to customize your massage without bending over to reach the manual controls
- Soothing, Pulse and Energize full-coverage compression and roller massages work wonders on your tired calves and feet
The kids were itching to try this out. I let my son give it a try and he was in heaven. He loved how it made his legs and feet feel. The uSqueeze can be used in two different positions. Either straight or tilted which works great if you are in a recliner. Simply pull down the little bar underneath the front of the uSqueeze.
One of the fun features of the uSqueeze is the ability to use an iPhone/iPad application to control it. Once the application is downloaded you must pair your smart device to the uSqueeze through Bluetooth.
Once it is paired up your iPad/iPhone becomes your remote control.
This is nice if you don’t want to keep bending down to switch programs. There are three pre-programmed settings for the uSqueeze.
Notice on that bottom row you have the option to use an auto program, manual, get some health tips, or more options
With the manual option you can decide what you want the uSqueeze to do, what type of kneading, the speed, vibration, and set your own timer. If you chose an auto program all of that will be pre-selected for you.
Just a note if you don’t have a smart device not to worry you can still control the uSqueeze from the unit itself.
For the most part we stuck with the auto programs. After the kids had their turn and said they all loved it, my daughter with a few giggles, it was my turn. I have to mention that it is a tight fit around your calves. I have thick legs so I’m not surprised. However my husband refused to try due to how tight I felt it was on myself. At first it was a little painful only when it squeezed my calves. I noticed the second time I used it I didn’t feel the same pain. Not sure if I had gotten more use to it or maybe the first time my calves were just soar. It definitely kneads and massages, a few times I had to lift my feet because they too were starting to get a little soar. At the end of the 15 minute program my legs and feet did feel relief like they were relaxed.
In addition to the programs I mentioned some health tips you can scroll through.
