As the summer comes to an end, the kids go back to school, and the weather begins to cool there is one word in our house that says it all…FOOTBALL! You can see the glint in my husband’s eyes and the thrill in his smile when he knows football season is upon us. I’ve always told him he missed his calling and should have went into some type of sports field. A true football fan he will watch football Monday, Thursday, Saturday, and Sunday no matter who is playing. I remember the early days before kids, and responsibilities when we would lay on the coach together watching his favorite NFL team, the Washington Redskins, play.
Of course with the football season comes tailgating, parties, and food…lot’s of food. I have always enjoyed a good Superbowl party and secretly can’t wait to see what fun foods will be served. As a good party goer it is only appropriate to bring your favorite dish to the party. What better way to transport that favorite dish than with Rubbermaid food containers.
Rubbermaid Food Containers
I absolutely LOVE my Rubbermaid food containers. Last Christmas I told my husband I needed more food containers and this is the brand that he purchased for me. The best part is the easy find lids! The lids actually snap to the bottom of the bowls which is a pretty cool feature especially if you are toting your food containers to a party and want to make sure you don’t loose the lid. Simply snap it to the bottom of the bowl.
This is a nifty feature but what I love most is that the lids for many of the bowls are the same size. For example the one pictured above there are more shallow dishes however they all use the same tops. This makes it easier to store and easier to find a lid that fits.
I was excited to try the Rubbermaid Party Platter which is good for so many different things. With four different departments you can easily bring four favorite dishes, and your famous dip. The great thing is the seal tight lids will ensure that your food stays in the containers and not all over your car.
Once the party is over just throw the Rubbermaid food containers and Party Platter into the dishwasher, since they are dishwasher safe.
