Darn the alarm went off and you hit that snooze button one too many times. You jump out of bed wet down your hair (no time for a shower), grab some clothes praying they are wrinkle free and rush to get the kids out of bed. They
jump up slide out of bed wondering why you are rushing around like a mad woman. Kids are dressed, teeth are brushed, you look at your watching thinking great 2 minutes to spare until you realize you haven’t fed the poor kidlets.
Sometimes sitting down as a family in the morning for breakfast is just not doable. Especially when you are running late. Of course any good mom doesn’t want to send their kids to school without breakfast. After all breakfast is the most important meal of the day. Skipping breakfast causes kids to be sluggish and often forgetful, ok more forgetful than usual. This is just a few side effects of breakfast skipping among a long list. So what are you to do when you find yourself in need of something quick, easy, and preferably on the go?
Quick Starts From Lance
I have all eight of these delicious flavors in my pantry. I have to admit when I first saw the pairings I was a little skeptical how a cracker with a sweet center was going to taste. After scrutinizing all the flavors I decided to go with the “Everything Bagel”. The everything bagel has always been a favorite of mind only second to the cinnamon crunch. I popped a cracker in my mouth and thought to myself. These are much better to eat on the go because if I only bring one package I can only eat one package. The flavor was amazing!

I noticed when I got up the next morning there was a package missing from the Bacon Cheddar box. My husband said they were pretty good. For him they make a great mid-morning snack.
Theare made with two baked whole grain crackers and a delicious filling in the middle. With protein, whole grains, B-vitamins and fiber, Quick Starts are a great-tasting and nutritious way to fuel you in the morning. This is a great option when everyone is running late but the kids still need to eat something before the school day.
Both my son and daughter loved the Maple French Toast flavor the best. It really gave them the sense of a breakfast in between two delicious crackers. Grabbing the Quick Starts and a bottle of water (which we always have on hand in our second fridge) they make the perfect start to the morning!
