Do you dread the question “What’s for dinner?” I know I do. However since I started Shibley Smiles the task has become more of a creative challenge then a burden. I have created recipes that I never thought I would. We are not a traditional family when it comes to dinner. There is no family sitting around the dinner to eat and converse. My husband goes to the gym and comes home and eats a small meal. My daughter wants to eat the minute she gets in the door usually soup, leftovers, and a bowl of fruit. My son’s….well let’s not talk about their food intake. Dinners is one place I have fallen short as a mother.
However lately I’ve been tasked with creating some fun and creative recipes. Usually when my wheels start turning I have a family member in mind my husband, sons, daughter, or sometimes myself. For today’s recipe, simply called “Pizza Melt” it was all about my daughter. When I started to brainstorm what to make with Kings Hawaiian rolls I had her likes in mind. I will admit she is easy to please she loves just about everything and is an excellent eater. What I had first had in mind when I went shopping was not at all what we ended up with.
