I am pretty proud of myself this year, I’ve gotten almost all my Christmas shopping done, and earlier than usual. It seems as I get older I get more and more behind. When I was young I had all my Christmas shopping done the week after Thanksgiving, tree up, lights blinking, and cookies baking. After three kids I’m always scrambling to get it all done in time to enjoy everything before the holidays are over. Thankfully some things are easier than others. CVS Photo helped me find both personalized gifts and unique gifts this year for someone people on my Christmas list.
Instead of the traditional photos of people which is my usual choice I knew what I wanted but couldn’t find it so I created it instead! My son has been working at an amusement park that is home to many animals for over a year now. One of his favorite animals is a white tiger. He is very easy to buy for because he loves everything you get him. He collects all kinds of things so I knew I wanted to get him something with a white tiger on it. I decided that he would love a pillow for his bed.

I know my son will love the gift I can see his face already. His bed is like a haven for pillows, this will be a nice one to add to his collection. The next person on my list was a little tricky because it was my son’s girlfriend of about a year. This is the first year that I will be buying her a present so I wasn’t 100% sure what I wanted to do. What I know of her is that she loves sea turtles and elephants. Also my son, her, and their friends tend to play a lot of board games and cards. That is when it hit me! I thought that a nice set of playing cards with one of her favorite things would be perfect. So I decided to visit CVS Photo and create her a set of cards that would be perfect.

Here in Florida you can never have enough beach towels, it is one of the things I like to collect since we own a pool. I love getting different designs anywhere from minions to the beach. So with a little extra spending cash I splurged a little and added to our towel collection. We spend Sunday’s out by the pool cleaning, relaxing, and watching football. When we have guest over we have towels for everyone. Like my son I love tigers but I prefer the traditional look of a tiger to the white. So I created a gorgeous tiger beach towel.

Using CVS Photo was an easy way to fulfill may items on my Christmas list this holiday season and I know I got things my recipients will love since I was able to personalize them! The great thing about personalized gifts is you can use photos of your loved ones to honor a memory or special time like a mug to grandma with a photo of her grandchildren. Or like I’ve done here you can use a photo of someone’s favorite animal or theme and create a personalized gift they will love!
According to a recent Harris Poll survey of more than 2,100 adults commissioned by CVS Pharmacy:
- 3 in 4 adults indicated that “thoughtful” gifts are the best kind to receive, followed by “personalized” gifts (52 percent).
- Photo gifts are still a popular gift choice among Americans, as the survey revealed that nearly 2 in 3 adults (64 percent) have created a photo gift.
- Of those who take photos, their favorite ones to turn into photo gifts are milestones (39 percent) and their child(ren) (35 percent). Scenery/landscape and pets/animals tied for third with 29 percent.
