I know the Holidays can be chaotic and providing good food and great company can reduce stress and brighten moods for host and guest alike. Travelers are generally tired when they reach their destination. Depending on the time of day, offering refreshments and a cozy place to sit and stretch out is the best way to invite your guests in. Crackers and cheese or your favorite appetizers make for a delicious snack without weighing your guests down. I’m sure a big meal is in their near future after all! Consider serving coffee with an assortment of flavorings or tea for something nice to sip on. Offer them a pair of slippers to relax their feet in and then settle in for a bit of conversation.
Remember to snap photos while your guests are visiting. Whether they are posed of the entire group or candids, capture your memories as they happen. You can then print off a few of each and include them in a card to give your guests as they depart. You could also use those photos to make personalized gifts such as a coffee mug or a tree ornament with the image and the date as a reminder of your joyous occasion.
