It seems like almost yesterday we were making New Year’s Resolutions and now it is almost the end of March and Easter is on the horizon. This year when you decorate your eggs with your children you can give at the same time. All you have to do is do some virtual egg decorating. Honey loves to decorate Easter eggs both traditionally and with the fun PAAS/Heinz Egg Decorator iPad app. PAAS and Heinz have teamed up to bring you not only all you need to make vibrant colored Easter eggs, but also a fun iPad app that when you use and share you will be donating money to the Make-A-Wish foundation.
Simply download the PAAS/Heinz Egg Decorator iPad app and get decorating, fill your basket and share your eggs with your friends and family. The more you share the greater donation to Make-A-Wish. PAAS/Heinz will donate up to $25,000 to the smile making, wish granting organization. It is so simple to use a child could do it (here is Honey’s egg)
Just by sharing this with our friends Heinz and PAAS will donate $1 to the Make-A-Wish foundation. This program will be in effect now through March 31 so don’t wait to decorate and share your eggs. The iPad app can be downloaded for free from the iTunes App Store, by simply searching for PAAS/Heinz, for more information check out the site: www.heinzpasseaster.com.
We received this fun Easter basket to help us get in the Easter spirit and decorate some non-virtual eggs using some exciting new PAAS kits and Heniz vinegar.
PAAS has always been the go-to egg dying kits. I’ve been using them since I was young. Did you know Americans dye more then 180 million eggs a year. PAAS has come out with some new exciting kits this Easter season to keep things fresh and fun: Volcano Eggspolsion, Deggorating Doodles, Touch of Velvet, and more! All these kits can be found at must major grocery stores and are inexpensive with an average price of about $4.25.
It is a little early for us to decorate eggs I tend to have the kids decorate Easter weekend. However with that basket of goodies in the house it was hard to tell Honey she had to wait two more weeks. So this weekend we went ahead and grabbed a dozen eggs at the grocery store and got down to some serious decorating with all the fun new PAAS Kits.
Honey and I had some (as she would call it) daughter-mommy time. We tried out the three kits mention above and the No Mess Coloring Cups. The Volcano explosion was interesting but didn’t turn out much like they are pictured on the box. The Deggorating Doodles included stencils and my daughter enjoyed them. I personally LOVED the Touch of Velvet. I just love the added effect on the eggs. Here are all our Easter eggs, they are just waiting for a soft place with grass to lay and wait for Easter!
I hope you will take a second and download the Free PAAS/Heinz Egg Decorator and give back a little this Easter season.
Do you still color Easter Eggs? What is your favorite Easter Candy?
