I have always been a believer in OxiClean. I don’t know what it has but it gets things cleaner than clean in my opinion. I also have a tub of it stored in my laundry room. Not too long ago a co-worker asked me what I used to get my whites bright. I told her that I usually use OxiClean. Recently I was sent a few new OxiClean products to try and I have found an even better “get your whites bright” option. Two of the products I was sent were the OxiClean Laundry Detergent and OxiClean White Revive Laundry Stain Remover.
The OxiClean Laundry Detergent penetrates fabrics and infuses clothes with three powerful stain-fighters and a clean, fresh scent. The detergent’s stain-fighters can lift away complex stains, including, grass, oil, grease and red wine. The OxiClean Laundry Detergent is available in liquid form and in time-saving detergent paks.
OxiClean White Revive Laundry Stain Remover offers bleach-like whitening without the damaging effects of chlorine, powers out the toughest stains, and keeps whites looking newer longer. The OxiClean White Revive Laundry Stain Remover works with your detergent as directed to revive dingy whites and maintain brilliant whites without chlorine, harsh fumes, yellowing or color damage.
Honestly when I washed my whites with both of these I saw a very noticeable difference in the whites. They seemed bright, clean, and stain free. It couldn’t get rid of stains that were set in from being laundered previously, I don’t think there is anything that can do that. I loved the combination of both the detergent and white revive and these have no become what I plan on using from here on out.
I was also sent a bottle of OxiClean 4X Extreme Power Crystals (I used it all before I could take my own photo)
Not paying attention to the package I was expecting liquid to pour out of the bottle. However to my surprise (and if I had paid attention) I would have noticed that it said power crystals. I don’t know why but for some reason I prefer the powder products when cleaning my dishes. I had no problems with the cleaner and it seemed to work well. It seems it is easier to tell when I cleaner doesn’t work than when it does. The dishes all came up clean and ready to head to their homes with no additional washing needed.
Spring Cleaning We Overlook
- Check Your Mattress: Flip or rotate your mattress. Check the warranty card for the manufacturer’s instructions and recommendations.
- Wash Pillows: Wash pillows and curtains to help reduce allergens and dust mites.
- Clean and Ventilate the Basement: Open windows and give your cellar a good airing, then sweep the area thoroughly or vacuum.
- Unpack Your Hoses: Bring your garden hoses out of storage. Check for cracks and leaks and examine the rubber or plastic washers at the connectors as well.
- Clean Shower Curtains: Whether you have fabric, plastic, or vinyl curtains, toss them in the washing machine to remove all the soap scum, shampoo, and mildew that built up over the previous year.
These products in addition to the ones I already use on a regular basis will definitely help us with our MAJOR spring cleaning. As in we plan on moving soon if we can ever get our new home closed. We will have two houses to clean the old and the new and I want to make sure that my new home is fresh, new, and sparkling as well as make sure I leave the old one in the same manner.
We will have counters, sinks, bathrooms, floors, and more! While I’m looking forward to owning a home I’m not exactly looking forward to the cleaning and moving LOL but with my OxiClean products at least I know my home will be clean! You can follow OxiClean on Facebook to get up to date information on new products.
