Every holiday season I think I’m doing great when it comes to planning and buying gifts. Then the next thing I know it is a week into December and it feels like I’m racing the clock to get all my shopping done. I do a lot of online shopping when it comes to the kids; it is great because the gifts come all boxed up and easy to hide out in the garage with all the other boxes. However for the smaller gifts for friends, co-workers, service providers, and even pets, I prefer to shop in an actual store.
This year I took Honey with me and we went down to our newly built Walgreens to get gifts for many of the people on our list like her teacher, best friend, my sister’s dogs, and I let her do some shopping for her brothers. As I do with most shopping we decided to browse the entire store before we put together our holiday list. Check our Walgreens Holiday gift guide.
Walgreens Holiday Gift Guide
Honey’s favorite things in the whole world (outside of her family) are animals. If anything can make her smile it is a kitten or a puppy. She picked out this cute sock monkey as her top gift for dogs this year.
Gifts For Your Pet
Gifts For Service Providers
Not knowing what your mailman, lawn service, or teacher likes the most, Honey picked out some gifts that she thinks would work well for anyone on your Christmas list. She especially loved the bath set for her teacher but also thought the Reese’s and Hershey’s gift packs would be great for those people that help us make our lives a little easier. I mean who doesn’t love S’mores right?!
Gifts for Boys
When it comes to getting gifts for boys Honey is no stranger to picking out great gifts. Growing up with two older brothers she is a pro at what they like. Here are some of our favorite gifts for the boys on your list. Honey’s favorite was definitely the target shooting game. She knows her brothers would have a blast with it.
Gifts for Girls
Being a nine year old girl that wants EVERYTHING, narrowing down gifts for girls took a little bit of time. However it is not surprise that her top gift was a stuffed dog, followed closely by the purple lava lamp. There are a ton of toys and gifts to choose from at such great prices. Check out the Frozen items sure to be a hit at only $1. They would also make great stocking stuffers.
Gifts for Anyone and Everyone
With our list just about completed we couldn’t help but find even more gifts that were fun and would make the perfect gift for anyone on your list. I couldn’t believe I found an Atari game console for sale (talk about bringing back memories). I am a HUGE pancake fan, so Honey thought the Perfect Pancake would be “perfect” for me. Of course, for the person that is hard to buy for, a gift card is always an easy and often appreciated option.
We had fun doing some of our holiday shopping at Walgreens. We were able to check off several people on our list. Since we were doing so much shopping for everyone and Honey was nice enough to give me her input I let her pick out a small little token of my appreciation. Actually, the item she picked out I loved so much that I picked out one for myself. After all I did some shopping too! We LOVE Minions!
What do you think is a great gift idea for those “small” gifts needed for your holiday shopping?
