With all the devices in our family headphones are often a necessity. All of us have some form of headphones from earbuds to over the ear headphones. I myself use earbuds at work but at home I prefer the over the ear and preferably wireless. This allows me the freedom of listening to my books or music while cleaning with no pesky cords in the way. My daughter spends about 15 minutes every morning watching videos while she eats and for the past year she has been using her wired Monster Headphones.
A year later her headphones are still going strong which really is the key because my kids can go through some headphones. I’ve tried wireless headphones with her but she would often forget to charge them. My son on the other head is all about the wireless. He uses his iPad to watch movies, videos, and play games. He likes the ability to move around without the annoying wires. So when Monster asked if we wanted to review a pair of their wireless headphones the answer was a resounding YES!
It was a win win for me because it seems like any time I’m looking for my own wireless headphones I find them with my son. My son was excited to get his own wireless headphones (as was I).

Compared to my own wireless headphones these are definitely lighter which is a great feature for someone that is moving around a lot while using them. My son said the sound is great and he found no difference with the ones he was using before. According to the manual these wireless headphones have 20 hours of playing time which means unless you are listening to them 24 hours a day you can get a couple days or more of listening before needing a new charge.
While it appears, and according to my son, that everything about these headphones are great for some reason I still find him using my headphones. His answer when I ask why is that he just hasn’t gotten around to charging his own headphones. I think I may need to hide mine to force him to use his own. We have had them for about a month and so far so good. With my son the biggest problem I find is that one of the ears ends up going out, however I think this is due to him sometimes napping in them.
Overall the headphones work great and last long. Having had $10 headphones and $200 headphones I find that if you really do use them a lot and want good quality and longevity spending more with an initial purchase saves you money in the long run. Priced at $149.99 I believe this is a great deal for a good quality set of headphones. Monster headphones are available at Walmart and Monster Products.
