Did you sit in front of the television each year as a child and watch as balloon after balloon strolled down the streets of New York during the Macy’s Day Parade? I know for many family’s this is a yearly Thanksgiving tradition. Or if you were really lucky and lived near you go visit yourself. I don’t think this Florida girl would have been able to brave the cold!
I did get to watch my own Macy’s Day parade this year without all the freezing weather. When the family and I were at Universal Studios Orlando we got a little taste of the amazing parade. There is still time to visit and enjoy the parade, from January 1-4 everyday at 5pm you can enjoy the infamous parade as everyone marches down the street. We loved the candy cane girls, the new Happy Hippo, and of course the tap dancing snowmen!
