My daughter has always been loved arts and crafts. I can often find her in her room drawing cartoon animals or creating something fun with all her art supplies. She definitely got these traits from me. I loved to draw as a child and still do and I remember when I learned how to crochet. A friend of mine from middle school taught me how to crochet Barbie clothes. I never did learn how to knit and these days I rarely have the time to learn a new skill. I have yet to teach my daughter how to crochet but she has asked me to learn how to knit. Thanks to Zippy she can now knit a scarf in no time at all!
Learn How to Knit with Zippy Loom
Zippy Loom was so easy to use right out of the package that the only thing I had to help my daughter with was the slip knot. Once I got it started she took over and was on her way to knitting a scarf.
The nice thing about Zippy is there are know knitting needles to try to learn how to hold. This was definitely a plus for my daughter. The Zippy Loom is a unique tool that allows you to learn how to knit a scarf in minutes. Follow the simple directions of wrapping the yarn around the pegs and then hooking them over the peg. Repeat this process until you have the desired length of scarf.
It is recommended that when knitting a scarf with Zippy to use a fluffy or think yarn. Of course, if you are knitting a scarf you are going to want a thick yarn, after all the purpose is to keep you warm. This is just one of many projects you can make using Zippy. Visit Zippy for fun “How to” videos or pick up the Zippy Loom projects. This inexpensive how to booklet includes step by step instructions to knit cows, scarves, necklaces, bracelets and more.
By using more than one Zippy Loom you can create a wider scarf. Each Zippy can easily connect creating a larger knitting area. You can also vary your color and style of yarn to make all kinds of fun scarves!
