When it comes to taking a family of five out to eat, the bill can add up quickly. We generally reserve eating out for special occasions such as birthdays, a special good grade treat, or other momentous events. That being said, sometimes on super busy days we need to pop into a restaurant everybody can agree on without breaking the bank. Luckily, we have a Denny’s nearby. They offer plenty of menu choices to please even the pickiest of eaters and movie tie-ins and games are sure to keep your kids happy. Of course, fantastic prices and fun promotions put a smile on my face.
Did you know that every Tuesday Kids Eat Free? With the purchase of each adult entrée of $2.50 or more, guests receive a free kids meal* for one child aged 10 and under. Stop by a participating Denny’s location between 4 p.m. and 10 p.m. My daughter is nine and this is a great deal. She finds something she likes on the menu and this busy Mom saves money.
Some of the delicious Denny’s Kids Menu choices are:
- Chicken Nuggets – Four fun dino-shaped chicken nuggets with choice of dipping sauces such as honey mustard or BBQ and choice of side.
- Chocolate Chip Pancakes – Three silver dollar pancakes filled with sweet chocolate morsels and served with a strip of bacon and a sausage link.
- Jr. French Toast – A sweet whole wheat slice of French toast topped with bananas and served with two sausage links and an egg.
Kids Eat Free at Denny’s
Other kids menu favorites are pizza, spaghetti, mac and cheese, or a junior cheeseburger. The options for side dishes are great with a variety of fruit and vegetable choices such as apple dunkers, fresh bananas, mashed potatoes, steamed broccoli and more.
A Denny’s deal my son especially appreciates is the Free Birthday Grand Slam. His birthday is TODAY and since starting work and paying for many of his meals, he’s all about free food! Who can blame him? Good for dine-in only at participating Denny’s restaurants, any guest that can show proof that it’s their birthday can celebrate with a free Original Grand Slam® meal. For those of you unfamiliar with what a Grand Slam is – it’s a good amount of food and you get to personalize it with choices like bacon, sausage, buttermilk pancakes, eggs, hashbrowns, toast, grits and more. It’s worthy of a birthday feast and free at that!
