As a mom that works full time and juggles work, home, and children activities my days are often GO GO GO! In fact as I sit here and write this post I’m trying to finish the weeks laundry and catch up on some emails after a long day of hosting a pool party for my daughter and nine of her girlfriends. I think I’m lucky to be writing in complete sentences. When you are on the go in the hot South Florida sun, and I do mean hot as it topped 88 degrees today, making sure you are hydrated is a most. Of course staying hydrated with the correct fluids is just as important.
Here in the Shibley household you can always find bottles of water in our refrigerator. He boys need something easy to day when they spend hours at the park. My daughter brings a bottle to school each day to keep her hydrated throughout the day. I try to drink water during my work day in lieu of soda.
I’ve heard that some people do not care for the taste of water. I just understand this as there is no real “taste” to water. For me an ice cold glass of fresh water hits the spot. However sometimes after drinking water all day I want something a little different. Something with a little flavor to go with my dinner or snack. Flavored water is a great choice to still help get in my daily water intake.
DASANI Drops
Honey and I recently had a chance to try several different flavors of the DASANI drops. We love testing out products like this to find out what each of us think. We sat out five different glasses and filled them with water. Honey put in the DASANI drops and the taste testing began.
Honey tasted all of them by the pineapple coconut as she is not a fan of coconut. We have similar tastes and our favorites were the same but in just a slight different order. My daughter liked the pink lemonade best followed by the strawberry kiwi. I agreed with her but in the opposite order.
