I drive 35 minutes every day to work and back. It is a nice drive along the Florida Turnpike but I will admit I HATE driving! I am just not a car person. Not only that I am also not a huge music person. Don’t get me wrong I enjoy music when I’m exercising, with friends, our having a family get together. When I’m by myself music is not my go to form of entertainment. I actually prefer a good book to TV or music any day. So where am I going with this?
Thanks to Audible I can enjoy my favorite past time, reading, while driving to work. You read that right I read, or better yet listen, to books while I’m on my way to work. This is a win win situation for me because I get to participate in one of my favorite leisurely activities, books, and it makes my ride much more enjoyable. Often when I get to the end of a good book I’m itching to drive somewhere just to finish it up.

I love a really long series of books so I can continue with my favorite characters from book to book.
Speaking of fantasy and favorite characters I recently saw an advertisement for the new Alice and Wonderland movie. Another story full of magic and fun characters like the Cheshire Cat and The Mad Hatter. While books made into movies are great nothing beats the original!
