One thing that drives my husband crazy is that Mother’s Day takes place in May while the children are in school. The kids have always come home with homemade cards, gifts, and cakes. However Father’s Day is in June when the kids are out of school, so there are no homemade gifts coming home from school. Honey is all about holidays and making things so she does her best to pick out her own crafts and make great things to make her dad feel great. For example, my husband and daughter share a love of dogs so she painted him a cute bobble head dog.
One year we made these amazing Father’s Day Brownies. She has already told me she wants to do something similar to this again this year, (a YouTube video she watched), since her dad has a sweet tooth.
