Cinnamon Toast Crunch evokes memories of my childhood when my mother would make cinnamon and sugar toast. That is of course when I was willing to forgo my favorite breakfast cereal. That is right, I am a long time cereal lover, a love that started in childhood and remains with me still today. When I was young my favorite cereal was whatever cereal had the cool toy in it. I will tell you a little secret about chocolate flavored cereals…they turn your milk into chocolate milk. YUM!

My love of cereal is contagious and my children often opt for a bowlful of goodness in the morning..and sometimes in the afternoon, and even for dinner. Who says cereal is only made for breakfast? In fact, dry cereal is a great option for snacks. A quick and easy snack to pack in your child’s lunch.

With all the many flavors available at Walmart and on Walmart.com (where I shop frequently) I find it is best to stock my pantry with many different options so our variety doesn’t get “stale” (pun intended). Some other new flavors of cereal we have enjoyed is Cinnamon Toast Crunch Churros and Fruity Lucky Charms. If you really want to surprise your child mix them all together for the perfect snack by picking them up on Walmart.com as well!
The great thing about cereal is it is a snack for any time of the day. With the chaos of the holidays behind us start the new year right by being prepared. Buy a box of cereal such as the Chocolate Toast Crunch and portion out the cereal in baggies and store in your pantry. This way you can either grab a bag to throw into your child’s lunch or they can grab a bag after school as a snack.
Stock your pantry with several different cereals so your child will have a variety to chose from and breakfast will never get old!
