I’m always trying new games and am still a Candy Crush addict! (Currently on level 875). One of my favorite companies to purchase games from is Big Fish Games. Every time they send me a press release of a new game I go check it out and then end up buying a handful more due to their great deals!
Honey and I have a great time playing the “find and search” games like Gardenscapes and Barn Yard. However other games we play by ourselves. A while ago I downloaded the game Gummy Drop for my iPad. I’m still playing the game in my rotation of 4 games I play on a daily basis. Gummy Drop while available on iOS and Android just made it’s debut for your PC. (Note: There is not a Mac version). So of course I wanted to try it out and see if there were any differences. I grabbed my Surface Pro 3 and downloaded it, for FREE!
Gummy Drop on PC
I can tell you if you have played Gummy Drop on your tablet you will recognize it on your PC the game play’s exactly the same. It is important to note that the games do not link. If you download Gummy Drop on your PC you will be starting from level 1 at Sydney.
No biggie if you are like me and have already passed quite a few levels (I’m on port 71) than catching back up will be a piece of cake!
If you are unfamiliar with Gummy Drop let me give you the low down on how it is played. Gummy Drop is a fun and unique Match 3 game. As you move from level to level your mission is to build famous monuments around the world. Each port has three additional levels. Once you play the first level you move on to the second which is the same board but the goals are higher. This could be more points, more resources, or other options.
If you can finish the level with more moves left you will set off a kaleidoscope of moves that will boost your points. As you build famous monuments you will also build resource centers so you can build more. Each day you can claim a lottery ticket, scratch of style. You are always a winner with this lottery. You have the option of passing your winnings on to a friend and trying your luck again or keep your winnings to yourself.
As you travel through a candy-coated world and match your way from Sydney, to Tokyo, San Francisco, New York City, Paris, London, and Rome you will find each port/level will continue to challenge you. You begin with three lives that when exhausted are refilled with time. If you lose a life before finishing a level you will have the option to either use your game coins to purchase additional moves or take try your luck at the wheel where you can earn extra moves or lives. Once you spin you will have to wait for the wheel to reload before you can try it again.
