Right before the family and I went on vacation to Orlando to visit Disney Animal Kingdom our new Action Shot Cam package arrived. Right on time, in fact I didn’t even open it just threw it in the car with us. Our package included the Action Shot Cam, Portable Video Viewer, Waterproof case, Deluxe Mounting Kit, and High Impact Case. The boys, when I showed them the camera and told them what it did, thought it was awesome. I on the other hand was thinking I hope this doesn’t open up a can of worms for the boys to get out on their bikes and skateboards doing flips and tricks.

We just LOVED the concept of this camera! My son also used the waterproof case and took it down the water slide with him. It worked perfectly however the video just didn’t turn out because of how he was holding it so I didn’t post that one. Also the portable viewer is a great tool to have and if you plan on using this to take more then ONE video I strongly suggest you purchase it as well. The Action Shot Cam said it would take a 2 minute video but we did get 3 minutes out of it.

I might not be much of a daredevil you won’t see me out on a bike doing wheelies, or twisting and turning on a skateboard but I absolutely think this camera is brilliant. For those of you that have an adventurous child, one that loves to scare you to death by doing all these tricks this is a great product. I honestly think kids will love it. I can picture it now, flips and tricks video taped with the Action Shot Cam then quickly uploaded to You Tube to share with the world. That is the world we live in here at Shibley Smiles.
The waterproof case worked like a charm, not one drop of water got inside to the camera. The Hi-Impact case is definitely great if you need that added protection. Also as I mentioned above the portable viewer is a must have. You don’t want to run in each time to and hook it up to your computer to check out your video. With the portable viewer you just click it on to the back of the Action Shot Cam to see how your video turned out. We took it with us to Disney’s Animal Kingdom and when we stopped for lunch we all watched the Mount Everest Video.
